"All staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming. We booked a room for 3 adults which was clean, really large and spacious with partial views of the lake. Shower was great, really powerful.Variety of teas, coffees and biscuits to choose from in the room. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of variety to choose from from continental and cooked breakfast. Hotel grounds are beautiful, well kept and cared for. "

"The hotel is beautiful ! It has kept its art deco style beautifully .we had a double bed bedroom which faced the front -this room was immaculately clean and had bath robes etc in there too . "Village hotel Warrington is a nice hotel and it's short walk to city centre with good choice of restaurants, pubs and cafes. It's own restaurant is alright but the food choice is limited and maybe a bit expensive. Rooms are clean and comfortable, there's gym and swimming pool worth visiting and a café inside the hotel, good breakfast, free parking, overall a good choice of hotel in the area, certainly recommended. "The staff were very friendly … the hotel needs a bit of TLC … my main gripe would be the bed you could feel all springs we even turned the bed round which was a help however sleeping was a real the whole of the Four nights we were there … we were told that they new of the mattress problems and are sorted very soon "

"Hotel perfect location All staff so approachable and friendly I booked a standard room which was at no fault except the shower was accessible over the bath. If you want a walk in shower you need to book the room above ie a deluxe. My only criticism is you couldn’t access the pool or sauna in the spa without paying, even though I was a paying guest and the charge was steep at £55. I have stayed at many hotels of this level and above where you could access the spa for use of pool and sauna...
