"Warm welcome and offers of help with the luggage Smooth quick and friendly check in and shown to our room. Nice touch! Room was spacious clean and had everything we needed. Bed was a little on the soft side for my liking (but that is just my preference). "Over night stay. Room overlooking canal was a bonus. Clean room. Access to spa although small and lacked places to sit and relax there so didn’t stay long . Breakfast was included and good choice of hot and cold buffet, "

"Lovely large room, clean and great value for money in a good location! Only niggle was that it took a long time to check in, we queued for 25/30 mins despite filling in the pre-check in form - would be great to have a quicker option for those who have completed that. "

"Wedding hotel - easy to get transport to venue - great sized rooms for getting ready in. Bar stayed open late for us on wedding night for a friends and family. "

"The staff were very helpful, respectful but friendly. I was at a course near the hotel on Sunday so was slightly disappointed the restaurant was late opening on Sunday morning. I did however get to my work on time! I would definitely stay at Wildes hotel again. Thank you"

"Corridors & hotel room tired e.g. torn wallpaper, scuffed table. Receptionist accused me of not paying for dinner the night before where I had to provide a credit card statement as proof of payment as apparently the till receipt wasn’t suffice & the Waiter didn’t provide a pdq receipt. Fantastic facilities & grounds & felt very festive!"

"As soon as we stepped in to the property I was happy. The check in went very smoothly. Every member of staff we came across was friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but had everything we needed. I loved that we had bottled water, a choice of sparking or still. Also nice hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee.The beds were very comfy with nice pillows and they had very nice fluffy towels in the bathroom.I would definitely stay again"

"Great bar snacks, very generous portions at a good price. Drinks were quite expensive. Good breakfast with prompt service. The room was very comfortable and clean. We unfortunately had a noisy couple shouting late at night in the room next door. Reception dealt with this promptly when I called them and reported it. "
