Excellent hotel. Staff were very helpful and professional. Thanks again to David at check in, and the lovely staff at the bar. Executive rooms were very comfortable and modern. Great location and really convenient for concerts at the Co-op Live.

I was unable to check in before 15:00. Or so I was told. People were then checked in from 14:35. I stay in Manchester a lot. Sometimes, at other hotels, being able to check in before noon. I did look at Trip Advisor for this hotel and saw a review praising them for allowing early check in. I did not sleep well. Not their fault. I won't however be saying how comfortable their beds and duvet were as I didn't experience that. Breakfast was decent. A bit of a scramble as lots of people ate the same time as I did. Overall, this hotel suited me for football at the Etihad and nearness to Manchester Piccadilly station. Other hotels are available.

From the pictures of booking this hotel it makes you think that you are staying in a luxurious hotel. When you get there we were quick to realise how far out the way we were to the main city center. Also as we were right next to an a road which is verry busy at all times of the day it is very unsafe for children. Overall the room seemed to be lovely but on a further inspection the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and when we went to untuck the quilt for the night we realised that there was dried blood on the quilt it's self and the pillows were yellow and badly stained. We went down to reception to ask for another so it can be swapped and fair play to the night staff they were really accommodating and helped to give us a new quilt. The staff for drinks at the bar were exceptional and very friendly. The morning breakfast buffet was another problem as we were told that everything would be well sined for allergies but there wasn't many to help guid in the right direction.but overall an ok stay.

Guadalupe and Jess at the front desk were fantastic, very helpful. The hotel is great and just a 2 minute walk from a tram station that connects you to all of Manchester.

First impression matters the most and I will say when I walked into the hotel it was very pretty, clean and warm. I felt very safe and at ease each time I come back to the hotel after a long day out. Breakfast was really amazing as well as the dinning option. I didn’t really see the need to have room service just to have extra 6 GPB each time. Very convenient the bus and metro is close to as well as Picadilly station. I will recommend this place

The desk staff are always very polite and helpful but breakfast staff seem miserable, stressed and overwhelmed. Upon checking in we asked if there were any available upgrades or late checkouts options and we were told no as the hotel was completely booked for the weekend, but we were offered some drinks vouchers. When we got to our room we noticed we had a twin room rather than a double.. this stay was for our 5th anniversary. Our room thermostat was broken and wouldn't work so our room was uncomfortably hot for the first night.. when we told the night staff on the Saturday night they remotely fixed it and told us it was been completely shut off, but should now work, which it did overnight but by the morning had switched off again and our room was so hot I almost passed out. Our bathroom shower looked a bit grubby around the base unit. Breakfast is always lovely and the hotel always smells wonderful. Overall we love the Leonardo and will continue to visit but just a few details occasionally let it down.
