"Does the job, Peter and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room is basic but is equiped with wardrobes, sinks and a comfortable double bed. "My stay here was perfect for someone who was just having a night out with mates. I went to the football at 3 and checked in around 6pm seamlessly. I had an allocated bed in the dormitory and it was still vacant when I arrived in at 4am. Check out was 1030 and issueless. All in all a perfect place to stay right near the city centre for those who just need a bed for a few hours on a night out. This place really is a hidden gem. "As an over hundred year old building, I think its condition is good enough. It is closed to Liverpool Central but on a quiet street. Suitable for weekend visit. People are friendly and helpful. I can tell some of the roommate stay there for long. They are working in the hostel and interact like family. However, as there is only one public toilet, it is difficult to manage cleanness. "Great service, very kind and friendly check in. The rooms are simple and you have to pay for the towels, but then again- the price of accommodation definitely justifies the payment for extras. Has a bar, open until 11pm. And it is genuinely all you need for a night stay. Also offers breakfast, full english for £9.99. And it is perfectly located for the Monsal Trail and ither walks."
