"We went to York for a birthday weekend. The location is perfect. A 10 min walk from the train station and very central. We paid for the upgrade to get river views and was worth the extra money. The bed was super comfortable and the staff excellent. Breakfast was good "

"Fantastic basic but clean and comfortable, let’s face it you only need a bed, toilet and shower and for the room rate close to the city centre this place is a bargain. Will be staying again."

"Bedside floating table missing. Worktops showing signs of age/wear. Bath had age stains on bottom. Bathroom Flooring peeling away from Bath side/floor. Walls had been filled but required painting . The chair had ingrained dust around outside of seat"
