"Dartington Hall is absolutely stunning, but, sadly some areas lack attention. We've stayed before, and had the same challenges... We love the place, but.... The bed (again) was like trying to sleep on Brighton beach, the decor is very tired, it could do with some tlc, but, to be fair, it a very old building, the upkeep must be astronomical.. There were no towels, we had to ask for some, Although the shower room is tiny, the water was piping hot (when it eventually comes through) and the water...

"The rooms were beautifully clean, comfortable and cosy. The staff were so so friendly, it was my first solo trip and they made me feel so comfortable and safe. From the welcome team, the cleaning staff and the restaurant staff I only ever felt looked after and cared for. I will definitely be staying again in the future. "
