"Rating based entirely on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fantastic spa facilities. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp. "Lovely property, easy check-in and the staff were very helpful. Food was fantastic with the best yorkshire pudding i've ever had. Nice and peaceful room, a little on the hot side with no way to turn it down but with the window open, no issue. "

"We had a great stay at The Osborne hotel for New Year’s Eve, the location was perfect on the beach & a short (taxi ride) into town for dinner. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly & breakfast was good. The inside pool area was a little tired but I understand they were due to close for two months for some painting/refurb works. Would definitely go back, the children loved it"

"Convenient position. Efficient people on reception. Nice cosy room. I didn't like some noisy guests with no consideration for others e.g. late at night loud talking of adults and children and banging doors. May be a notice in all rooms saying please be considerate to others and close doors quietly and not to speak too loudly. A hook needed on back of bathroom door to hang towel."
