"We are a couple from north Somerset wanting a relaxing weekend and thats what we definitely got! From the day we arrived sat 2nd nov the staff we so helpful on reception and very easy to locate our room . The Spa was fantastic! 5* from all the different spa rooms to our facials on the sunday ,this was also very , very relaxing. "Loved the room and the view, staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. One issue was that there was a wine stain on the carpet beside the bed, I reported it to the cleaning staff as I didn’t want them thinking it was our fault. They cleaned the room each day but did nothing about the stain on the carpet. The other issue was the water pressure, there was a lovely big bath but it took an age to fill up"

"The Torcroft was a great place to stay in Torquay. The hosts, Gary and Philip were friendly and professional and could not have done more to make my stay great. They were full of helpful hints on places to go whilst staying in Torquay. The breakfast was lovely and always freshly cooked to order. The bedrooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. " Overall this nice little BnB is very good. The hostess is very friendly and helpful with local sights etc. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by a very uncomfortable mattress.There was a slant to the room which caused feet higher than head. Had to move around bedding and place cushions under mattress, but still could not sleep. The curtains were too thin, so at 530am the room was very bright. We booked for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to lack of sleep."

"A warm welcome when I arrived. Despite being on the main road into Torquay, it was very quiet within the b&b promising a good nights rest. Breakfast was very good and set me up for the day. For an evening meal , there were a good selection of restaurants within 15 minutes walk."
