"Good hotel. Room cleaning was hit and miss. We had to go and ask for towels and other items that were not replaced in the room after cleaning. The room and bathroom wasn't the cleanest we ever stayed in. The breakfast was of a good standard but warm plates for the hot food options would have helped to keep the food warm. The coffee was from a machine and ok. Good selection of breads and hot food and fruit etc. breakfast staff were good. The pool is very small and you have to reserve your place...

"Nice clean room/hotel in a great location. Everything you could want from a city centre accommodation. Breakfast a bit pricey at £24. Ordered omelette which was lovely and hot and nicely presented but seemed very small. Also had a wrapped sausage muffin from the continental area which was cold and rock hard. Good selection of cereals, fruit and cold meats/cheese and breads. "

"The Moxy is no frills but that’s reflected in the price. The most important thing is that it is clean which is why I don’t mind booking here. This was my third stay and I’ll be returning for my fourth stay next week. I do wish there was a mini fridge in the room as I tend to have longer stints and would like to keep some food/drinks on hand. Even renting one for a small additional fee would still make this a solid value stay. The area is about a 20 min walk from Princes Street but there’s enough...

"Nice room and comfy bed. Free breakfast buffet was good quality with plenty of choices, but like a cattle drive. Rude people pushing in front of you and little kids running around unattended touching the food, cutlery, etc. We felt it was a bit unsanitary. It’s amazing how parents have no control over their spawn."

"The Four Sisters was a unforgettable experience I would recommend. The location is convenient to the historical sites and museums of Edinburgh. We were fortunate to be there during the local canal festival and were able to learn more about the area and join the community. The staff was helpful and just a text away. The plumbing is a bit tricky but you are on a boat and once we got the hang of it, there were no problems"
