"First time staying at the Novotel in Edinburgh. The early check in link through Hotels .com gave us a scare when the Novotel answered a query by saying they couldn't find the reservation, however, the actual check in at the desk was quick and easy . Hotel reception is bright and airy, staff were friendly. The execution room was excellent and the breakfast was first class, loads of choice. One of the lifts was out of action which caused an increase in wait times but nothing excessive. Great location for Grassmarket and Old town attractions. I would stay at the hotel again, recommended.
