"The hotel is very nice; the room was very comfortable and the view is amazing. The private trails are great, it is advisable to use confortable shoes and a walking stick. The food at the restaurant is good. "

"We had total privacy, a wonderful plunge pool and a view across the trees and valley to the Pacific, sunsets and Uvitas whale's tail, a huge sand bar that appears and disappears with the tide. The food was very good, but not excellent. It is luxurious and everyone tries really, really hard to please guests. Toucans and other birds stopped by our patio, 10 feet away. We enjoyed our stay very much. "

"The communication from the beginning was great. They helped with the car rental, driving instructions, tours, and restaurants. The host was great. They helped book everything so I’ll I had to do was pay. The check in process was smooth and really nice. Having someone show you the property so you are not fumbling around was great. "We had an amazing time staying with you! Oscar, our concierge, was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we booked to the day we left, he was always available to meet our needs, arranging airport transportation, coordinating the delivery and pickup of our rental car at the house, and ensuring everything went smoothly. "We had a terrific stay at Del Congos and words can't describe the beauty and gorgeous views surrounding the property! Our two kids ages 9 and 7 spent many hours playing in the pool and using the gorgeous waterslide (and parents too!). We also enjoyed many meals outside near the pool and lounging or reading books in the hammock. We had an amazing time on several tours that Del recommended including horseback riding at Rancho La Merced, a visit by boat to beautiful Corcovado National Park (saw 2 pumas, countless monkeys, wild pigs, a tapir, scarlet macaws, toucans, crocodiles, among many other jungle flora and fauna), and last but not least a mangrove tour out of Sierpe (we saw many crocs, birds, iguanas, a boa hanging out in a tree over the river, and monkeys galore). Del was very instrumental in helping us choose these wonderful activities and guiding us away from overly touristy places which we wanted to avoid. We recommend renting one of Del's personal cars as it was so important to have a solid 4WD vehicle to navigate the road to Del Congos and I don't think the airport rentals would be quite as powerful. The house is amazing and Adrian, the caretaker, is extremely nice and helpful. We highly recommend a trip to Del Congos in Uvita and take Del up on all his recommendations! Don't hesitate, just book it!"

"This house is located way up on the mountain. It has a beautiful view of the Whales tail. From the bedrooms and pool deck. Inside the house is very spacious. Plenty of room for two families. It was just me and my wife. Adri the caretaker is great and will help you out if you need anything. The pool nice but was a bit cold when we were there .You will need a all wheel or 4 wheel deive vehicle to get upthe mountain "
