"Great private onsen, close to hakone cruise ferry. Arrived early before check in time, owner did not respond quick enough for the door lock. Luckily met the owner when arrived at the destination to put in the luggage."

"What a wonderful holiday home. New and fresh, photos don’t do it justice. Lots of space, bedrooms are upstairs - 2 bedrooms each with 4 single beds so could accommodate a large group. Few minutes walk to the lake with fabulous views of Mt Fuji and close to Oishi park. You can see Mt Fuji from the holiday house and it had a little deck (but no table/chairs). Really quiet area. No washer/dryer which was the only negative. House is managed by the shop across the road which is where you check in...

Cons: To start, the walk to the property is the furthest walk on the entire street practically only up hill walking. It is quite annoying to get anywhere if you want to leave the property. The laundry machine is broken and leaks everywhere, leading to badly washed clothes and a wet floor. The beds were wet before we entered the villa. We tried to sleep, but too moist to...

"Very cute little cottage that felt like quite an authentic experience. Plenty of room for four with a good sized kitchen and living room. Great location on the edge of the village right by the river. "

"Large space in Hakone and very reasonably priced. Good for large groups of fit, young people. Recommended parking is up a very steep hill and stairs to second floor are a little narrow and steep. The house was otherwise clean and comfortable."
