"We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all helpful and kind. The food was delicious (be prepared for A LOT of food at breakfast and dinner) and we loved our in-room onsen . The hotel is showing its age with some visible wear and tear but it didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay. The location can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend staying here. "I originally planned to say at a ryokan, but since I'm traveling during busy season they traditional ones were all sold out. I stumbled upon this property, and I'm so glad I did. I would recommend this property to everyone staying in Hakone. It's central, but more than that it's gorgeous. The garden itself is beautiful with cherry blossoms (during season) and koi fish. There's a hike to the Mt Fuji view which we didn't do this time. The staff member Park was absolutely helpful - she drew us maps to help us get to the Hakone Ropeway, and she drew us a map to get to our shinkansen early morning when we were checking out. There's an area where you can pour yourself speciality coffee drinks and juices out of a machine. Also the onsen experience was wonderful! We went both days during our stay. The hotel also gives you pajamas to wear and all the amenities you could need per day! 10/10 would recommend this place!!!"
