"Always our favorite in Galveston."

"We really enjoyed our stay, even though it was rainy. Touring around the museum and the various train cars was super fun. The grandkids (ages 4, 6, 7, 9) were over the moon with this 'surprise' overnight stay before we headed to our cruise. The staff were terrific. The pullman car was awesome. We knew it wouldn't be a spotless, newly built hotel room, but this made it all the more exciting to be in a venue from days gone past."

"This loft was perfect for my friend and I’s quick getaway trip to Galveston!! It was minutes away from the strand which was super convenient since that’s all we planned to do! It’s a beautiful old renovated building, we loved the old wood staircase. We looked up when the building was built and I believe it said 1915! Super cool historical building! The kitchen was perfect and had all the utensils we needed. The bed was actually comfortable!! There was extra pillows in the closet which was nice....

Which would not have been a big deal but I had started a load which resulted in a load of wet clothes that I am having to wash at home when we get there. It also said it was a non-smoking building and it was very clear someone was smoking in the building when we returned from dinner (which is not something they would know about right away but was strong smell).
