Cozy Cabin in the White Mountains of Maine

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"lovely remote cabin ; lots of trees, quiet. We enjoyed seeing the horses on our way in! Really appreciated being able to bring our dog. Very comfortable beds; well equipped kitchen, AC kept entire house cool. The layout of the cabin allows for some privacy and quiet , which is very nice. Some games and books in living room ; (the upstairs has a high ridge in the middle, and then a fairly low ceiling.) Worked fine for our young adult daughter, who is 5 ft. 7 inches. (the bed is placed under the...

"I stayed here with my 8 year old grandson. We were comfortable and felt safe. I was concerned before I got there about feeling safe. The treehouse is up the hill from the office and the owners live there by the office and work hard at keeping the property safe and well groomed. The property was clean and we enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable."

Cozy Retreat, Hot tub, Wireless,Close to Kezar Lake, abuts White Mountains

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (72)
"The house was as we expected. For the price it fit a lot of people and had a good functional kitchen for us to use. We were close to a lot of nice hiking and having the inn close by felt nice in case we had any questions or needs. Owner communicated clearly and quickly for anything that came up. A few things were outdated or could be cleaner but again good for the price! Thanks! "

"I planned this trip for my birthday, and it was absolutely what I was hoping for. The people running the place were beyond kind and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable/happy. The cabin was exactly as portrayed, if not better. "

"We hit traffic on the way up, but Carrie was still available for our late check-in. She was super helpful and accommodating and gave us loads of ideas for activities and directions in the area. We stayed in the largest treehouse and it was exactly as advertised in the photos. Slightly closer to the road than we anticipated, but extremely clean, cozy, plenty of bedding and extra towels, AC was welcome some parts of the weekend and it had everything we needed. We brought our dog, hiked to the...
