"We loved this unit at Chateau Chamonix, and it was perfect for our family of five, although it would also be very comfortable for two families of four. The view is spectacular, and it was immaculately clean--kudos to the cleaning service -- not a speck of dust even on baseboards, light fixtures, etc. Sometimes it's hard to tell from a listing what you'll really be getting, so I assure you that this unit has all those small touches that make a place truly livable. Things like plenty of plugs on both sides of the bed for charging, great light (including in the showers), plenty of extra paper towels, trash bags, lysol wipes, extra blankets, lots of pillow options, humidifiers (didn't expect this!), board games that had all the pieces. All these details made our stay so relaxing and chill, I felt like I was at home!For those who have younger kids who need it very dark to sleep--this is the unit for you! Blackout shades really worked--made the bunk room very dark. Not only that, but adults could watch TV in the living room at normal volume and kids couldn't hear it at all after they were tucked in. There are several thermostats so none of the bedrooms got too hot/cold. Kids can ski in and out on greens!Kitchen was super clean (including the inside of the trash can) and had all the basic cooking necessities plus oil, salt and pepper, cinnamon, etc. Plenty of flatware/dishes--this isn't a unit where you're going to have to wash between meals.Highly recommend this place!"
