"We loved the Cardinal’s Hat. Fantastic pub and a wonderful place to stay. The bedrooms have been refurbished to a very high standard, beautiful comfy bed and very clean. Fantastic breakfast. Only sorry that we couldn’t stay longer but we will definitely return. "

"This is a lovely place, immaculately clean. I would have given 5 stars but sadly it was very noisy due to being next to road, the bed and pillows were also rock hard (that’s just a personal preference liking a softer one!) But location was great, rooms are huge! I would return another time (with my own pillow) "
