"We stay here while attending dogs shows. The staff are always very friendly & helpful. Only thing at this time I would say is, lack of hot water @6am in the morning, ugh. Otherwise a great hotel. "

"Hotel was was very comfortable and clean! Nice breakfast. My only criticism would be to ask the management to re-think the parking charge. The two large, on-site parking lots were only about one-third full when I stayed, so having to pay $7 per night for parking seemed like a money grab."

"Howard Johnson's is a reliable place to stay when I visit Amherst. It's clean, comfortable, affordable and conveniently located. Nothing posh or fancy about it, but it serves its purpose well. Mini fridge in room is a nice plus. Would be nice if they had in-room microwaves."
