"I enjoyed staying at the EconoLodge. My room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom fan was loud, but that is minor. I was moving a freshmen into college so the hotel’s location near Bed Bath and Beyond, Target and Walmart was very convenient. I did hear while I was there that the hotel will be temporarily used as dorm rooms for UMass. The students will be getting some pretty swanky dorm rooms. This is as of August 2022. I am not sure how long UMass will be renting the hotel, or if they are...

"The hotel was beautiful, clean, well maintained. The lobby was inviting with comfortable chairs next to the fireplace. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was a plus. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable. We will definitely be back. Very conveniently located Minutes from the mall and many, many restaurants. "

"This is an old property, showing its age unfortunately. A throwback, and not in a particularly good way. However, do you want a clean bed and a relatively inexpensive room vs the neighboring properties? Then this will do you just fine. Also, whoever makes the coffee in the morning does a really good job. Best hotel coffee I can remember."

"The hotel was clean and very quiet. It is in an excellent location in downtown Springfield. Parking (extra charge) was very convenient, once we figured out the ins and outs of it. That was a little confusing at first. We would stay at this hotel again. "
