"We stayed with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Maureen was very communicative and helpful, working with us to avoid some bad weather and staying in touch throughout our stay. The home is bigger than it appears in pictures, and very comfortable. Our group of 9 fit perfectly. It's also perfectly located an easy 10 minute drive from town and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. The view is fantastic, neighborhood is quiet, home is wonderful!! Kitchen is well supplied with pretty much any dish or tool you might need. Our family skied & enjoyed the hot springs. We had a great time & loved having such an awesome place to call “home base” for the week. "

"There was so much about this house that made it wonderful - close to River, park, town. Great little porch. Spacious rooms. Hosts were great. But the best perks were the small things. "The cabin is in a perfect position to ski at monarch mountain and still make a trip into salida if you want to without much travel time. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very roomy with everything you’d need. Overall it was the perfect place for my friends and I to stay for our ski trip! Would stay again if given the opportunity."

"We enjoyed staying at Grandpa's cabin! We spent Christmas here and it was the perfect White Christmas. The views are amazing and to wake up in the mornings to these views were breathtaking. The house was the perfect size for us and will definitely book again ! "

"It's hard to imagine that this jewel is just barely off the highway. You really feel much further back into the mountains. The views are spectacular! The hidden porch, which we didn't know anything about before arriving, was awesome. Another spot to enjoy the views from. Late September was an ideal time to enjoy the color changes all around. If in Ouray, or even close, I would definitely opt to stay at this cabin! I shouldn't be telling anyone about it! Must hoard for myself. Kidding. ...

"Wonderful stay! Close to grocery stores and to town. In a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Neighbors seem to value their space, so be considerate of noise, property lines, dogs, etc if you stay here. We had an overall comfortable and memorable stay!"

"We all had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful and very relaxing. Plenty of items were already available in the kitchen for use and everything was well stocked that would be needed on a trip. Just keep in mind that there is no AC so days can be a little warm but fans were available. Overall we couldn't ask for more."
