"Really nice place to stay while visiting Durango. Not a lot to do right around the hotel unfortunately, but the river walk is really close. If you’re looking to be able to walk to restaurants or shopping, you probably want to be more in downtown. The hotel is nice though. Quiet and very dog friendly. Lots of places to walk around the property or join up to the walking trails along the Animas River. Staff is very nice and continental breakfast was good."

"I was very impressed with this place! I liked it so much that I decided to extend my stay for another 2 nights. The rooms are a bit small and simple, but yet super elegant and clean. Perfect to crash after skiing at Wolf Creek. They don't have staff on site, and the check in is all done electronically. "This is not a chain hotel. It is a little mom and pop kind of place. The rooms were plenty satisfactory, and the staff were really helpful. We had no issues with our stay and paid about 1/3 or less of what we would closer to the slopes. We liked it enough, we rebooked for a couple weeks from now. "

"The exterior is looks like a motel, but once you walk into the hotel you’re greeting with some of the most friendly and hospitable staff you will ever meet.
