The private boardwalk to the beach is great, as you do not have to walk over the sand dune. The pool was nice but chilly ($500 to heat was a bit extreme for us). The elevator is really handy. "The unit we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious for the two of us but would just as easily have accommodated two couples or a couple with two kids. The kitchen was fully supplied with cookware, etc. and appliances were updated. Best part was the porch area overlooking the ocean. "We had the most relaxing vacation at the Playful Pelican. It was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy. We loved that it came equipped with beach towels, beach wagon/toys, chairs so we didn't need to pack all of the extras which made packing so much easier.
