"Good, convenient location in Downtown. Hotel needs a major refurbishment. Ancient AC/Heat unit could only groan and look filthy. Bathroom door wouldn't close, warped, and toilet seat broken. Ceiling of bathroom/microwave cracked with peeling paint and paint chips on the floor. Door to room was not very secure. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom linens were good. "The Battle House is a beautiful property conveniently located in downtown Mobile. Parking in the parking deck was super easy with plenty of spots available. The hotel is gorgeous and we enjoyed the heated roof top pool! We would definitely stay here again!!"

"Nestled in a little enclave in downtown Mobile, we arrived in a historic section of the city with the hotel right in the middle. It felt like stepping back a century. Cobble stone streets with gas lights welcome you to this restored building from the 1800s, but with all up to date amenities. Our room was beautiful. The bathroom spacious with a four legged bathtub that tempted you to take a long, warm bath. It was sad that we only had one night. We can’t wait to come back. "
