"The house was as described and Dauphin Island is unadorned and basic. Bring what you need and plan to just relax. No flashing lights but the people are very nice. No night life but a casual and restful place to spend a few days. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable."

"We had a large family group. 19 people ages 1-50. There was something for everyone. The kids loved the pool. You can see the beach/ ocean from the top deck and you're so close you can hear the waves crashing. The beach was a short 5 min walk from the house, same for the Lagoon on the opposite side. "The perfect place to stay just outside of the busy area of Auburn Univ. on a game weekend. Spent a few days touring the campus with our high school Juniors. Home was spotless and located in a quiet, safe community. Great little coffee bar provided by the hosts. Owners communicated frequently and shared pro tips for attending our very first AU game. "A beautiful home. Loved that each bedroom had own bathroom. Powder room on main floor and outside on deck is so convenient. Great kitchen. My husband and I highly recommend. We had eight people in our party, ages 60 to 75. Elevator is definitely a plus. Would be great for family. The deck and pool is wonderful but needs some shade. Loved that it's one house, not split like some."
