"Getting to and from the hotel with out a car is very expensive. Even taking city bus which is paid for by hotel, there are many steep hills or steps to climb up from train station. Checked in the staff very nice. In room. No toilet paper, not even an empty roll. Had to go ask for it. The room had paper garbage under table. Breakfast was included but not much to speak of. I would never go back. Legs all bit up in the morning. Bed very uncomfortable and room very tiny. "

"This hotel provided a handy and comfortable basic stopover before an early departure on the Bernina Express. Located a little out of the city centre but only a short hop on the bus which was super convenient and easy. The twin room has small beds but they turned out to be comfier than they looked and we slept well. The staff here were very helpful and friendly. I would use again. The pyramid shape is novel and the balcony is a nice touch. "

"The property was clean but it was old. All the furniture and appliances were maybe over 30 years and it was like staying in the 1950. But my wife liked the breakfast. The staff were great and helpful. But the hotel itself needed renovation."

"Overall a nice place to stay. The triple bed room was very tight though and we got the room on the 4th floor where it felt even more cramped. The shower definitely needs redesigning. Other than this, everything else was great. Franco at reception was very nice and shared good recommendations. "

"I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Zermatt! The hotel was cheap and the staff even gave me a free upgrade on my room which was a nice surprise! The location is also amazing because it is right next to the train station and it’s only a 20 minute train ride to get to Zermatt. Trains ran frequently so I never had to wait long. I also felt like housekeeping went above and beyond every day tidying up the room. The only down side is there’s no microwave or fridge but everything else...
