"My friend and I are writers, and we came to this cottage to work on our books. It was the perfect location with the sunrise views over the water from the magnificent porch. The cottage was exceptionally clean, cozy, and beautiful. We had one small hiccup with the heat, but the manager, David, showed up immediately and the problem was rectified promptly. I loved it and we would absolutely stay there again."

"Gray woods is a remarkable treasure. You walk in the door and feel instantly comfortable and at home. The views are stunning, the kitchen is better equipped than my own and I'm a great cook. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. Sunsets and sunrises are stunning, the stars are bright. We had sunshine, torrential rain, thick fog, and it was all exactly right. When sunny, we went to Popham Beach, when foggy, we snuggled in by the fire and read, and the pouring rain lulled us to sleep. It is Maine...

"We usually rent right near our relatives closer to Newcastle, but there was a problem with heat in property so we needed a new rental to move into and “Otterly getaway” was willing to rent to us the day before they technically were available which was good for us. The kitchen of the getaway is just perfect for cooking side dishes for our large family Thanksgiving that was just about 20 minutes a way. We slept in the king bed and it was excellent sleeping.
