"Our check in was very smooth and friendly. We ate at the restaurant which offered a good choice of food and the staff were very obliging and helpful. The position of the hotel in relation to Gatwick Airport is very convenient and the hotel offers a shuttle service for a reasonable price. There is also free parking available. A great place to stay. "We have stayed at the Lawn a few times in between travelling from Canada to Spain and the UK. Each time the owners have been very helpful when we are there early for check in, with our requests for extra T bags, milk etc. Always ask if we need anything booked for our onward travels. Lovely family guest house and we have stayed in a few on Massets road, but we continue to support this one as we have found them very helpful and welcoming."

My room was in a building separate to the pub which was possibly quieter. It’s all old so sound proofing isn’t a thing. My double bed was very comfortable but the room was quite small. "It was a lovely flat with plenty of space but we were disappointed with the condition. The shower and toilet were very dirty and the sofa had all the seat cushion zips broken and the stuffing hanging out.
