"This was a great vacation. The layout of the cabin was very spacious. The outdoor HOT shower was a great addition for after a swim in the cold lake. Lots of great outdoor activities in the area. We will absolutely bookmark this listing for possible future stays. My only recommendation if you go is toarrive during the day as it was a little difficult to locate in the dark. locate "

We liked the campfire and seating area out there. It was a more isolated location, which we knew, but the wi-fi was good as long as we were in the cabin. "The house was very cozy and filled with really nice artwork, collectibles, and comfy beds and couches. We utilized the fire pit and had a roaring fires a couple of nights, and utilized all the extra blankets available to us as it got plenty cold at night! Absolutely perfect location for all the hikes and water activities in pictured rocks national Lakeshore and vicinity. Would highly recommend this place, we were very comfortable and had plenty of room for four of us.."

"This home was a wonderful stay for an extended family vacation. The home was spacious and well stocked. The outside area was wonderful. Our only negative feedback was regarding the lake, this is more of a fishing lake than a water sports lake in our opinion, and our boat was too large for this lake. Not the fault of the owners and we were able to enjoy their pontoon for the week which was very nice! However we would not bring our boat back to this location. Otherwise the stay was perfect!"

"Overall the cottage was great! Neighbors were close but it still felt private. The deck was a peaceful place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the wildlife. The location was Close to restaurants and waterfalls. All the boats were in really nice condition however the row boat could not be used as the oar locks were broken, missing, or damaged. One canoe paddle was also duct taped together. The hill going down to the water was a little steep- nothing of concern if you are fit and...

"Lovely, peaceful setting, very relaxing. Close to attractions in Munising. Comfortable. Must read owners' description very literally. I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again."

"The cabin is close enough to Pictured Rocks and all that Munising has to offer, restaurants and activities. The cabin had all the needed amenities for cooking, recreation and comfort. My family enjoyed the boats and yard for outdoor play. The host had great communication. "
