There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. "This Vrbo was the perfect fit for my friend and I. We came to Costa Rica to bird, and it was hard to leave the property at times because there were so many. 10 Iguanas in eye shot at one time, howler monkeys in the trees, beautifully landscaped yard. The host lives next door and was very helpful with questions of where to eat and what to do. Cahuita is a quiet small town with chill vibes. Definitely not a party town. "

"The house is even more beautiful in person. Great location near the beach, restaurants and a small grocery store. The house and grounds are well taken care of and very clean. The host went above and beyond to make our stay great! The house is open air but the fans are strong and AC was not needed. Bugs were also not an issue even with the open air concept. "

The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. Property has all the basic amenities and is very comfortable. Easy drive to Playa Cocles and Puerto Viejo for groceries etc. I would definitely recommend!"

We saw so many birds, Toucan’s, a sloth, agouti’s, and even a caiman in their lagoon. "This place is a gem! Safe , clean and so well kept. You see the staff everywhere taking care of the facilities. The room was so clean, bed was perfect, kitchenette was very useful but it didn’t have utensils of any kind, little microwave and fridge. Oh and the room is quite spacious! Hotel has one of the few ( that I saw) guarded entrances. The staff was sweet and helpful. Great place to stay! We would definitely be back"
