If you have problems climbing stairs though, that will be an issue because they're a bit steep, but for location you can't beat this place! "Our stayat..Olguita's place was wonderful Renaldo and his wife Isis were very nice and helpful They educated us on the area and history of their home. We were treated to fresh fruits and an educational walk of the property by our hosts. We loved the sound of the oceans waves breaking on the beach and the sounds of the forest. The room had no AC but we were very comfortable with the ceiling fan. I would definitely return to Olguita's Place"

"I had booked two nights and ended up staying four because I liked it there so much. The rustic cabins are decently sized- I was alone- and clean. There's a bed, a small kitchen area, bathroom, and TV. It's located about 2-3 km from Puerto Viejo. I walked to town for the exercise and enjoyment and it's about 1/2 hour walk.
