"We only got to stay at Hotel Banana Azul just one night but had a very nice time. We came in late and was greeted by Genesis at the reception. She made us feel right at home and showed us to our bungalow on the other side of the property. We opted to have breakfast in the shared dining area and were helped by Maria. Food was wonderful and it was very pleasant chatting with Maria who gave us some helpful travel recommendations for the Viejo and Cahuita Beach areas. We couldn't stay a second night on account of all the rooms were already booked. Too bad! But, we will definitely come back to Hotel Banana Azul next time we're in the area."

Needed a spot for 2 nights before catching a tour & feel fortunate to have gotten here. Walk to the beach or rent their bikes and enjoy the tasty breakfast - pancakes were the best. "
