"The place is gorgeous and the owner and his in house staff were very very on point. They was one major factor that needs to be addressed. There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. They were also in their 80s with a bad back. Would’ve never made it up to the kitchen, which was about 10 steps left. I wish we could’ve seen the reviews, but it...

"Upon viewing this property, our group of 5 immediately nicknamed it the “Mansion.” It was exactly as described, just stunning and gorgeous! Erinn and her adorable dog Foxy greeted us upon our arrival and gave us the grand tour. "This Vrbo was the perfect fit for my friend and I. We came to Costa Rica to bird, and it was hard to leave the property at times because there were so many. 10 Iguanas in eye shot at one time, howler monkeys in the trees, beautifully landscaped yard. The host lives next door and was very helpful with questions of where to eat and what to do. Cahuita is a quiet small town with chill vibes. Definitely not a party town. "

"The house is even more beautiful in person. Great location near the beach, restaurants and a small grocery store. The house and grounds are well taken care of and very clean. The host went above and beyond to make our stay great! The house is open air but the fans are strong and AC was not needed. Bugs were also not an issue even with the open air concept. "

The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. "The lodging and grounds were beautiful and it’s so obvious how much love and time Daniel and Renata have put into their wonderful vacation accommodations. We saw so many birds, Toucan’s, a sloth, agouti’s, and even a caiman in their lagoon. They answered all of our questions, made great arrangements for tours, and made sure we had everything we needed daily! "We loved our stay at Conga! The room was clean and staff were really knowledgeable about the area and activities, helpful, and kind. Easily walkable to the main area of Puerto Viejo and Playa Cocles on the other side. Would definitely recommend!"

"This place is a gem! Safe , clean and so well kept. You see the staff everywhere taking care of the facilities. The room was so clean, bed was perfect, kitchenette was very useful but it didn’t have utensils of any kind, little microwave and fridge. Oh and the room is quite spacious! Hotel has one of the few ( that I saw) guarded entrances. The staff was sweet and helpful. Great place to stay! We would definitely be back"

"We loved having the beach and good dining very close. The grounds are beautiful and we saw howler monkeys, common black hawks and sloth right on the property. Playa Cocles is across the street with some major waves! Our apartment had a kitchen which was very convenient. It is close to the street and adjacent property, so not quiet. The only inprovements we would like are a replaced shower head and mitigation of the sewage smell (brief) near the stairs."
