"Great stay, would stay again "

"We had a lovely comfortable stay. We did have to clean the bathroom a little as few hairs on the bath and toilet had brown water in the bottom but apart from that it was lovely. We had robes in the wardrobes, toiletries and plenty of towels. The coffee pod machine is a nice touch. Overall hotel was clean as you could be for its size ! We really enjoyed our stay thank you "

"A brilliant stay. We've stayed at this hotel 3 times now in recent years and it's always a delight. The hotel itself is a magnificent building with marvellous architecture which includes a fantastic main staircase. Parking was convenient and the staff were everything you could ask. No problems in recommending, we're already talking about our next visit we yet have to plan."

"Ideal location close to attractions, restaurants, and Shambles Alley. Great room size, very clean, staff polite and helpful. 24 reception gave a safer feel to our stay and the added bonus of starting each day with English breakfast. Would book again!"

"This was a great stay for 2 adults and 2 children. Despite there being a sign up on arrival that there was a private event with music till midnight… I didn’t hear a thing, the rooms are nice and quiet, the pool was lovely to wind down in after a busy day, and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice, fresh and was replenished often. Parking is £7 for each night, and there is a bus stop on the opposite side of the road just outside the hotel to take you into York, the bus’s are every 15 minutes and we purchased a family all day ticket for around £9.60 which was super convenient, overall a fantastic couple of days was has by all! "
