"We enjoyed our stay here. The property was well maintained and the staff were friendly. There wasnt much to do within walking distance but that’s okay because it was very quiet and there was a restaurant/bar there. "

"This was a great place to stay. Views from the property are expansive and lovely. Property is clean and comfortable. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The specific directions of how to get there were accurate and appreciated. Thank you to A Castle View B and B."

"The hotel is obviously old and in desperate need for renovation. When I checked into my room it was clean, bed comfortable but the heater had a life of its own. I called reception and a girl came up to the room and managed to get it working. She was lovely and it wasn't a problem which made all the difference. However when I got back to the room the heater had gone off again and I couldn't get it to work again but I was tired so went to bed."

"Myself and my husband had a lovely 2 nights here. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent, staff extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The pool, sauna and steam room were all extremely clean as was the rest of the hotel. Looking forward to booking our next visit!"

"Weekend break with friends. Location was perfect for train station and loads of shops, pubs & restaurants. Hotel was warm and inviting, welcoming staff, rooms a good size, comfortable & quiet at night. Plenty hot water, good shower "
