"We liked the sunset views and how peaceful it was after the restaurant closed. We booked through Expedia and we believed that we booked a 2nd floor room with a sea view from inside of our room, but we were told that was not what we reserved. Expedia's website also did not mention that this location did not have hot water. The temperature of the water was acceptable, but it would have been nice to know that before booking the room. "What a hidden gem! All the comforts of home/hotel without the enormous price. We will definately visit again. Breakfast on the water, prepared by a personal chef... white sand beach with crystal blue swimming area. Rooms are nice and remodeled. Floating massage 'deck', kayaks, snorkling gear, and more. We paid the chef to take us for a tour of the island, which he did so graciously. Didn't miss a thing, had personal treatment (and a/c) all at a reasonable price. I believe there are power...

" I loved the general quaintness of the property. Our host was very helpful with a delightful personality. The property could use some sprucing up but the possibilities are wonderful! We stayed in the nook room and enjoyed the outdoor shower. It would have been nice to supply us with washcloths in the bathroom. If you are not looking for a lot of amenities, and want a very quiet getaway, this would be a good choice. "

The room itself did not have hot water, showers are solar heated, i.e. lukewarm at best. " We loved our stay at the house and would definitely come again! We were 3 couples. Everything we needed was there & two blocks away is a supermarket and food truck. Although more “remote” than the hotel areas we always felt safe. We brought our water shoes so the rocky beach was no issue although we did visit Mangel Halto which was a quick 5 minute walk from the house.
