"This hotel has excellent amenities (PJ, slippers, coffee in room, good size room, king bed, mini frig). The location is within walking distance of bamboo forest, monkeys, rail station. "I did book this hotel for two nights but decided to book another hotel for the replacement of the second night here. This is an older hotel. It is next to the Arashiyama Train station. Great location for being next to a quiet train station. The inside needs updating. Our room is non smoking but walking to the room it smelled strong of cigarette smoke. The onsen was very small, and it doesn’t have the best bth products so I suggest I pack your own. The beds were stiff and our air conditioning...
