"This is an extremely well-priced option for a stay in Kyoto, in an accessible but quiet part of the city that is still close enough to be convenient, but far away from the maddening crowds. Great hostel facilities, clean, spacious, comfortable, with all the necessities well looked after, and completely functional. The guests were all very respectable and there are no unnecessary frills. "The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood, the atmosphere inside the hostel feels relaxing and is in good condition. What makes this hostel special is the host, he made the stay in this hostel an absolute pleasure! If I would return to Kyoto I would go out of my way to stay at this hostel again."

"A small and attractive hostel. A relaxed place to be. Excellent location. Did need to ask for a second futon as the futon is so thin. Sliding doors to rooms are paper thin so voices can be heard, but was not an issue. To stay in such a wonderful part of Arashiyama, right next to the bridge and monkey park, temple and high street, it is fantastic value for money."
