"This was our second trip to Sol y Mar because our first trip was a dream. The property is special. We did get caught up in the weather debacle that involved two weeks of vertical rain contributing to the Liberia airport closure, and stranding us in CR for another week. The bright spot in the entire trip was our comfort at Sol y Mar. Grethel was helpful staying in contact with us while we were there. She checked in regularly and was a lifeline. "

"Our stay at Playa Ocotal was great! The residence is just as described online and the homeowner/manager is extraordinarily helpful and very responsive to questions and comments. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils/dishes. We stopped at the store upon arrival and bought basic food, drinks and snacks along with toilet paper, tissues and paper towels. "My sister and I booked a fast 2 day trip. Immediately upon booking we were connected with our travel advisor, Jennifer. She promptly helped us book transportation to and from the airport as well! The day before out return flight, we learned the airport was going to be closed and our flight was delayed! Luckily, Jennifer immediately contacted us and let us know we could stay additional nights. "The condo is very nice and has amazing views. There is a pool right outside the condo if you want something quiet and relaxing. If you want more activity, the Club has an amazing pool with a swim up bar. We also took advantage of the pickleball courts for open play. You need to drive to everything and traffic can get bad but lots to do right at the property. The restaurant there is great. Communication with Rich Coast Vacations was great. They respond quickly and are very helpful."

"This condo is situated on the 5th floor and has an amazing view and an exceptional rooftop terrace. It is well-equipped although there are a few minor items needing maintenance. Use of the rooftop terrace requires ascending a long flight of stairs, somewhat problematic for elderly tenants. The location is convenient to Playa Hermosa and Playas del Coco by car.
