Santa Teresa Hotel RJ - MGallery

5.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (350)
"This is my favorite get away in Rio. The grounds, pool area and buildings are just perfect. I hope they never change a thing. We checked in early and never left the hotel for 24 hours as the restaurant and bar on site are perfect. Thanks for an amazing time, and we will be back soon! "

"This property is the definition of luxury and boutique, with outstanding service. Whilst away from the hustle and bustle that Rio has to offer (and a bit challenging to get back to at night times), anyone looking for a memorable stay should earmark this place. A true gem!"

Casa Amarelo par Robert le Héros

4.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (42)
"Lovely old building, with lots of character. Admittedly the condition is slightly dated, but is part of the charm! Marianne was very helpful, explaining the local area and arranging a taxi for us. Bedroom very spacious and the pool area overlooking the city is brilliant! Santa Teresa is a cool neighbourhood too. Would recommend. "

Monte Castelo

3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (235)
"The pros: The area is safe and convenient to Metro, buses, and there is a taxi stand in from of the hotel. The Metro is only a few blocks away and can take you to the beaches and other attractions. Flamengo Beach is a short walk away, and there are trails there for biking, running or walking with incredible views of Sugar Loaf. The internet also worked well and there is A/C and cable TV. The Cons: For the second long stay in a row (I also stayed last July), the bed was not very comfortable...
