"We recently stayed at Villa Amore as a family of 11. The home was WONDERFUL with amazing views of the ocean, a magnificent pool and fantastic accommodations. Alex and Jenny made wonderful meals night and morning. We never had a bad meal made by them. Thank you for a truly memorable stay!"

"I love boutique hotels and Leyenda is no exception. The grounds are quite beautiful. They greeted us with a welcome drink! We stayed for 3 nights total, family of 5. We had the superior 2 bedroom and the room was good but we did add an extra room after our first night for more space and another bathroom (my fault for thinking the 3 beds/1 bath would be sufficient with two teens). We enjoyed the big pool! Wished it was a bit cooler to be a refresh from the heat, or that a part of the pool had some shade (never thought I’d say that!) We ate 3 dinners here and each dinner was AMAZING! I can not recommend their dinners enough. Warning: the portions are HUGE and very shareable. Unfortunately, the complimentary breakfast buffet was not as good as their dinner. However, the made to order cappuccinos were lovely. We took the shuttle to the beach one day and I highly recommend Playa Carillo as it was the best beach we visited in Costa Rica. Just stunning! The next day we drove our rental car to the beach and back. Overall, I would return here again. For the price, the location and amenities are a great deal. PS. The Asiatic restaurant is not open, which we were looking forward to. Luckily that main restaurant had a large variety and incredible food."

"This was a beautiful beach house, secluded from any tourist town. You will have about a 40 minute dirt road drive from the main road to the house. The house is a perfect place to let you kids swim in the pool and play in the ocean/sand. The outside kitchen had plenty of room to"

"This is our second time staying at Diego’s house. He is very easy to communicate with, got back to us very quickly, and always had suggestions and advice. The caretaker, Lisbeth, was very friendly and helped us out throughout our stay. The house is beautiful and the location is wonderful. You are in the middle of nature, with scenic views, animal watching and critters around! We loved it!"
