"I loved the oak trees and the birds. Our site had an amazing view of the ocean as we were on the 3rd floor. We saw humpback whales, dolphins, pelicans, terns, grebes, and more. We appreciated our time there and intend to return."

"This house offers a great view and access to the beach/ocean from the great room/kitchen/dining room. We stayed over Christmas and though it was cold, it was nice having a gas fireplace, a hot tub and a pool table. It has a lot of sleeping spaces throughout the house each with their own bathrooms. "

"Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home for the Thanksgiving holiday. We were a large group ranging in ages from 1- 60 plus and the home was the perfect size for all of us. The kitchen was well appointed for all of homemade meals and even for Thanksgiving dinner. We only wished this kitchen had a larger or second Kitchen fridge for a home of this size(there is an extra fridge in the basement but we quickly filled that one up too). The beds were all super comfortable and bathrooms were well stocked. The property manager was always communicating with all the information about the property and was very responsive if we had any questions. The views from the house were incredible being right on the beach and also facing the sound. Being super close to Duck and also Corolla, it was a perfect location to visit either town easily for food or entertainment. Having the beach a few steps away from the house was great for the kiddos. It was super easy to bring their toys up and back each day. We also loved the enclosed pool area as the kiddos couldn’t get to the beach without an adult due to the locked gate. We will be back in the summer so we can enjoy all the amenities! We highly recommend a stay here!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was freshly updated and very clean. Our boys loved the bunk beds and there was plenty of outside deck space for them to run around. Great location with a few minute walk to beach access. Centrally located with a few minute drive to downtown Duck and 15-20 minute drive to downtown Corolla. The house has everything you need including beach chairs and a wagon for transporting everything. My only tip for families with little ones would be setup for bath time in the main bathroom. The glass door is awkward and makes giving baths difficult for kids and it doesn’t quite hold off water from dripping over the tub when you shower. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just a friendly tip for families looking to stay. Would highly recommend this house and would absolutely stay here again. "

"We checked in on Thursday, September 26; called that night to report 2 tvs not working (and it wasn't wifi), texted about the tvs again on the 27th...never heard from anyone about the tvs. One toilet would not flush, someone finally came about 13 hours before check out. There were ants in the kitchen all around the stove and the glass top on the stove was cracked. We killed 3 spiders (2 WERE IN 2 DIFFERENT BEDS!!). Overall, the house was just not clean; it seems it has been neglected for several months now. Very disappointing."
