"This beautifully updated oceanside cottage, located in the quiet Poteskeet neighborhood, was the perfect setting for our family to enjoy an extended holiday. Michelle & Joe welcome visitors with an exceptional guest house experience, with comfortable beds, fluffy bath towels, and numerous thoughtful amenities one would find at a boutique hotel. This is not your typical rental, but more like a retreat where you can relax & recharge. The well-equipped kitchen has been renovated with gorgeous granite countertops and blue glass accents, even stocked with coffee, teas, and bottled water in the fridge. We enjoyed morning coffee on the cozy screened in porch, movie nights on their cinematic tv in the living room, and star-gazing from the hot tub to end our day. Thankfully, you can bring your fur babies to enjoy this getaway with you, too! Michelle & Joe were a dream to work with and we plan to return! "Overall we thought this property was very nice and we enjoyed staying in it. Lots of space, pool was great and clean, wonderful location, and everything in good working order. Easy walk to beach and downtown Duck and boardwalk. A few minor changes could really make a big difference - replace the sectional and chair in the living room. Both sag from years is use, are dingy, and shopworn. Second, update decorations such as pictures on walls…that would make it seem a bit fresher and move inviting. Overall a very nice and trouble free stay…we would stay again."
