"We stayed slightly off-season here (mid September). The complex was very quiet and we were lucky to have a third-floor unit with a nice view from the balcony and some of the windows. "The rental was small but charming. The renters hospitality was top notch. They stocked beer in fridge and put out chairs, a beach umbrella and surf boards for them to use. "Mother- daughter trip for senior week. The house was a nice, spacious, and affordable rental, nearby the town of Duck, with a 10 -15 minute walk to the beach. Check in and check out were easy. "My husband, daughter and myself stayed this past weekend and it was just what we needed. Condo had the perfect amount of space and was clean. Perfect for a small family getaway, complex had a playground, pool, easy beach access, and applicable parking. Shops/ restaurants close by, and views were amazing. "The property really needs TLC.. many lightbulbs were burned out, furniture torn or soiled, broken windows with duct tape, curtain rods about to fall off……master bedroom was nice, but the mattress needed replaced. Felt like i was sleeping in a hole. The walk to the beach was short and the location is perfect.. the hot tub was very nice and we enjoyed it . I would not book this house again, unless updates were made."
