"The property is very quaint, the rooms are large and fit our family of 6 just fine. The staff is great, the pool is amazing, and the views of the beautiful trees and wildlife were top notch. Each day a family of macaws would fly over the hotel while we were eating breakfast, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. "

The vibe of the place is very welcoming, non-judgmental, and comfortable which is so important in a clothing optional establishment. It was perfect to lay by the pool, soak in the Costa Rican sun, and enjoy the waterfall pool and hot tub. "We reserved a room at this location, however we were switched to ZenZaru same ownership. At KiKaru the grounds were not maintained and the pool was unusable/not clean. "1.Rooms were not well maintained. Wall had broken paint, looked dirty and smelly. 2. It doesn’t have Air conditioning, so it’s was very difficult to sleep. Fan provided wasn’t good enough as it was very warm inside. 3. Breakfast is terrible. In fact I wouldn’t call it a Breakfast (2 breads and a coffee) 4.Limited/No parking, you will have to park on road. Felt a bit unsafe as it’s adjacent to downtown San Jose I wouldn’t recommend as you can get better hotel Options at the same price. "
