"We stayed at Teva for 3 nights near the end of our trip and overall enjoyed the stay. The Good - the rooms are clean but very basic. Ours was one with a ceiling fan and aircon (AC essential in this location i think). The pool area was nice, and there were various places to sit in the grounds. You could also use the kitchen area if needed. We saw monkeys and iguanas in the grounds. There were trails in the ground too but it was too wet for us to explore these. "Really good place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of the city where the locals are. Even with the hustle and bustle of the area really quite hotel. I stayed in the hostel which is good for 1 or 2 nights. Was also allowed to check in early. Museums are really close to the hotel. As well as el mercado central. "

"This establishment should not be able to operate. The condition of the place is very bad: there was no water, the toilet is broken, the shower wires were exposed, there was a whole in the wall next to the bed and all of this happens at the best room they have available, normally at 40 USD per night. This place has not been properly maintained in years. I left the place as soon as I could."

"There were errors in the rental of this Hostel or Hoteis.com/Expedia.com because my reservation was not included and I had problems with that! I had a very unpleasant situation in that place! "Very friendly staff who were super accommodating — they extended checkout time by 90 minutes when I needed to work remotely from a quiet place. The breakfast was nice -- make-your-own eggs and pancakes -- and the common areas were great to hang out in. One word of caution: They didn't have a record of my Expedia reservation when I arrived, so if at all possible, call and confirm they've received it."
