"Beautiful home! When we entered the home, the views inside and out were stunning! Very open concept and you can see all the way to the pool and the beautiful grounds. The three bedroom 3 1/2 bath layout was perfect for a family, and laundry on site was a bonus. We cooked several meals while we were here and the open concept kitchen and dining area were perfect for meals and game nights. The old growth tropical plants around the property were breathtaking. "Gorgeous property, perfect for large family gatherings. We spent a lot of time on the upper level watching the birds, monkeys and even a sloth. The property manager was very helpful in organizing activities for us. The pool was fantastic as was the entire house. The road up to the house can be hard to find but once you are there you won’t want to leave!"

"The property was perfect. 2 bedrooms with a kitchen was just what we were looking for. The deck was great for watching the monkeys and parrots. The pool was perfect after a hot day of tours.The hosts were very helpful and also booked our excursions and transfers. Their van was clean, had WiFi and seat belts. It was walkable to a grocery store, restaurants and shops. I would stay here again!"

"We had plenty of space for 4 guys. We spent most of our time in living room or balcony. The sound of the fountain and architecture of the house made it peaceful. You have the full view of the city. The staff were helpful and communicative over WhatsApp. We asked for messages and coordinated with professionals familiar with house. There’s a bit of travel to and from San Jose or sure but it’s worth it. Always tell driver to follow the signs and the street has white stones lining the roadway....

"The home was beautiful. The pool overlooked the mountains and was stunning. It was close to town. The only downside is that I wish it were more walkable. Just a note, the bedrooms had AC but the main living space did not. It wasn't uncomfortable because of the fans. It was a lovely place to stay."

"Villa Grande was fantastic for our family group of six adults plus our chauffeur/guide. With five bedrooms each having a bathroom PLUS two more half baths, this property is very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms had additional beds which our group didn't need. AC was excellent. The kitchen is very well equipped. The swimming pool is beautiful with a shallow end and deep end. Inflatable chairs are provided at the pool. There is no washer or dryer available to guests but the maid will do laundry....

"2 couples shared Casa Roja for a week and loved it. The jungle location saw daily monkeys of all kinds very up close and personal! The jungle canopy provided a welcoming relief from the hot sun, and a dip in cool pool was perfect. The open concept (to the jungle) main living area was so fun.
