"We had a great family vacation with nine adults. we did the all-inclusive package which took the hassle out of transportation and meal preparation. The staff was very attentive to our needs. "We had plenty of space for 4 guys. We spent most of our time in living room or balcony. The sound of the fountain and architecture of the house made it peaceful. You have the full view of the city. The staff were helpful and communicative over WhatsApp. We asked for messages and coordinated with professionals familiar with house. There’s a bit of travel to and from San Jose or sure but it’s worth it. Always tell driver to follow the signs and the street has white stones lining the roadway....

"The home was beautiful. The pool overlooked the mountains and was stunning. It was close to town. The only downside is that I wish it were more walkable. Just a note, the bedrooms had AC but the main living space did not. It wasn't uncomfortable because of the fans. It was a lovely place to stay."

"Though we had a nice stay, it should be noted there are many different sets of stairs up and down to kitchen entry bedrooms lower apt. Somewhat difficult for seniors. The property is in need of updating and repairs. Sofa and outdoor cushions Need to be replaced. Outdoor furniture needs help. Safe did not work. Ice maker did not work. The area and location is beautiful and safe. We had a lovely time."

"We met family (12 people) for a week of adventure in Costa Rica. Alex was a wonderful host and arranged all transportation, excursions and chef prepared meals. The house suited our needs perfectly with large common areas to accommodate all of us. The bedrooms provided private space for each couple/family unit. Small grocery and cafe just a short walk away. "We stayed here for 5 days! The most amazing place! We felt safe and enjoyed a monkey show for a few days. Dani was extremely responsive and amazing to work with. The cleaners were also top notch. It was easy to get to Quepos and Dani planned all of our excursions having the places pick us up right at the house. We will definitely be back!!"

"La Casa Roja was everything we hoped for and exactly as presented. We loved watching the monkeys daily right off the living room balcony. We even spotted a sloth and enjoyed checking on him daily. We had a chef come in one night for supper and recommend trying that a least once. Wai was extremely helpful for all of our needs and requests. We were close to some excellent restaurants and enjoyed the area tremendously. "
