"The best experience I have ever had in my entire life. This place is on another level. Beautiful, romantic and very layed back. It's not a place to go to be entertained it's a place to kick back and relax. Enjoy the pool, enjoy the beach and all the wildlife around the Villa. "This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. After booking over a month ago, we showed up to be told we had been double booked by hotels.com and there was no availability. "The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....

"This place was great. Though Avellanas Beach was a short walk from the property, it felt secluded and remote. I could hear howler monkeys in the trees, which was cool. The house was gated and felt safe and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. I would gladly visit again."
