For exemple, we walked to San Ignacio Resort for the Green Iguana Conservation Project tour (20 minutes), then walked to Cahal Pech ruins (another 20 minutes) with 2 kids. "The grounds and pool at this hotel were stunning! Proximity to San Ignacio and all activities perfect! The room was lovely and spacious with a beautiful outdoor shower. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the head chef was so kind and thoughtful. My son and I got a stomach flu one day and she made us a an amazing ginger tea. The only downfall at this resort was the low water pressure and lack of hot water. You only get about 5 minutes before the hot water runs out. "
