"Amazing place in the jungle. Nice room with own pool and river view. But icluded breakfast was very very simple. No hot food or you need pay extra. Only few cakes and hot beverage. Acommodation price is high so you expect better breakfast. Restaurant overpriced. Prices in USD dollars. I'ts strange.Not all quests are from USA. Road to resort terrible with low car. Overall I will give 4 stars not 5 for this resort."

"We had the best stay there! The pool is awesome and the staff were very friendly. The grounds are a little overgrown… and this place looks like Covid hit it pretty hard, but it has SO much potential and we had such a great time that I hope more people stay there! Our room/cabana had a king and 2 doubles- Perfect for our family of 5! "

"We felt so welcome and pampered at this gorgeous resort. We were greeted and helped with our luggage, the Staff took care of our meal orders , grabbed extra towels for our excursion, made beautiful drinks. The rooms had a lovely view of the river and the sound lulled us to sleep. Gorgeous spot!"

"We had the best time at Villa Cayo! The cabin kitchen is very well equipped and we had the most comfortable bed. We saw all kinds of birds, every morning, even toucans! The property works better for guests with a car, but they'll assist you with transfers, tours and even taxi cabs. Virginia, Ken, Luis and each one we met at the property were wonderful! They make you feel very welcome! Great place if you're looking for a restful vacation! We can't wait to return to San Ignacio and stay here...

"This house in Santa Elena is so cool! Our family of 5 stayed here for three nights. The house itself is well maintained, very spacious and clean. The views around the property are gorgeous and the surroundings are lush and so peaceful. We had Consuelo cook for us one nights and it was the best as she prepared food and cleaned up everything after. We got to relax after a long day. And Consuelo is so sweet and helpful. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend! "
