"What a beautiful resort buried deep in the jungle. I appreciated how friendly all the staff was, and they genuinely seemed to want my son and I to have a great stay. We were offered a complimentary bird-watching tour, which was nice, and we elected a resort sponsored tour of the Barton caves, which was magnificent! Daily breakfast is good, with fresh pancakes and fruit. Bartenders are all nice and make a good drink. Thanks so much!"

"My brother and I had an excellent stay at Falling Leaves lodge. The room was big, spacious and comfortable. Ms. Paula and the entire staff were superb. The entire staff made us feel welcome and were available for any assistance, if needed. The view of the city from the restaurant was amazing. "

"Me and my girlfriend stayed there and really enjoyed ourselves. Going into our stay, I wasn’t expecting a lot because of how affordable the cabana was. When I saw the property and the restaurant and the cabana is itself overlooking San Ignacio with a hammock in it,I was extremely impressed and considered staying another night. The food was great and the staff was even better. Unfortunately, it rained so we couldn’t see the Mayan ruins as we had planned on, however, it was definitely a great time. "

"Table Rock lodge was a fantastic place - beautiful grounds, clean and cozy rooms, amazingly friendly and helpful staff, and tasty food that was clearly fresh and all natural. It was easy to get tours and activities booked through the lodge and to learn more about the area from the staff. We especially loved the ecofriendly setup (bird and animal feeders, rock-tile shower, and on-site farm with fresh everything). Keep up the great work!"

"We enjoyed every minute at Sweet Songs. The all inclusive option was the way to go. Delicious local food--each of our meals were excellent and we ate all but one of them there over our eight night stay. Definitely intend to be a return guest. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, they totally spoiled us! "

"The experience our family had at Black Rock Lodge exceeded anything I could have wished for. From the moment Fernando picked us up at the airport, we knew we were in for a good time. The nearly 2 1/2 hour drive went fast as he thought of everything. He had water and snacks ready for us when we got into the vehicle. We made a stop for iced coffee and saw a fabulous wood working gallery before reaching the lodge. The most unexpected thing for me was his willingness to make an unplanned visit to the San Ignacio market. I had watched numerous YouTube video. I had mentioned I wanted to see the vibrant market. He gladly stopped and walked with us around fruit -vegetable vendors and explained the spices and the items. It was thrilling. The French Bakery in the town is a must. Arrival at the lodge started with tropical drinks while overlooking a vast tropical rain forest. My husband is an avid birder. He was on cloud 9 for the 4 days we had there.The night hike was fun for our oldest son. Our family was fascinated by the tour of the Mayan Ruin Xunantunich which was led by Isaias. He is brilliant with birds but equally winsome in explaining the history and culture of the Mayans. The added bonus for me was the stop for lunch at Bennys a local restaurant. Not only was the food yummy and priced fair, the vibe of the atmosphere really connected you with how locals live. The food at the lodge is delicious. Virginia is a stand out for gracious hospitality. We will go back!!"

"My husband and I visited as the first part of our Anniversary trip. We were greeted by Eric at the airport immediately after our arrival and had a great ride to the resort. Eric was also our guide for tour of Caracol Ruins, Cave & Pools, he also took us on the most spectacular cave tubing experience and set up with zip lining. We admired so much his knowledge of the land and the animals! The resort itself is breathtaking and so relaxing. The whole Tut family are so kind and accommodating. Food is top notch authentic Belizean Cuisine and the sound of the surrounding forest is amazing. Highly, highly recommend! "
